My Story

I qualified as a solicitor in 2007 after pursuing a successful and fulfilling career in banking. I was drawn to law by an interest in the subject, and as a way to help people. After a number of years spent working for a law firm, I opted to move into industry for a better fit. Back then I harboured dreams of doing things my way and having a more direct impact and connection to the work I was doing.

Looking back, it’s clear that this would lead me to running my own business. I am now able to work with clients with whom I have a genuine affinity, both personally and professionally, and have established excellent relationships. At the heart of what I offer is the relationship. If we don’t connect, then it won’t be a rewarding experience for either of us. My service is underpinned by my strength in establishing trusting relationships across your organisation so that tasks can be efficiently managed and completed. Clients tell me that in addition to my legal skills, they value my ability to own a task and see it through to conclusion and take a problem away. It’s a cliché, and a description that is often used and unappreciated, but I am a safe pair of hands for your business. My clients describe me as open, friendly, an excellent communicator and a great cultural fit within their team.

When not working, I am a fitness fanatic. I play (and watch) tennis as often as I can; I am a regular in the gym and I love ticking off the lanes in the pool. To relax, I have begun the practice of regular yoga. Having been born in, and grown up in Belgium, I love good food and enjoy both cooking and eating out, and sharing a bottle of wine.
