Complaints Handling Procedure

In the event that you are unhappy with the service provided to you by KLH Legal, we have a complaints procedure to ensure that any issue that you raise with us is dealt with properly.

  • If there is something that you are unhappy about, please contact kim@klhlegal.co.uk with the details.
  • We will acknowledge receipt of your email within two working days of receiving it.
  • We will then investigate the complaints you have raised. This may include contacting you for any further information or clarification.
  • We will aim to resolve the complaint to your satisfaction as soon as possible. If the complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction within eight (8) weeks of its receipt by us, you have the right to complain to the Legal Ombudsman and their contact details are below.  Any complaint to the Legal Ombudsman must be made within one year of the act or omission you are complaining about occurring or when you should reasonably have been aware of it.  You must also refer your concerns to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of our final response to you.
  • If you are unhappy with our behaviour, you can contact The Solicitors Regulatory Authority. This would be for matters where you feel our behaviour has been inappropriate or potentially dishonest, such as deliberately overcharging you; taking or losing your money or treating you unfairly because of age, a disability or other characteristic.  They cannot deal with issues of poor service.  More details can be found at their website here The Solicitors Regulatory Authority.
