Examples of Services and Value

Over my 20+ years providing legal advice, I have worked across a number of industries and businesses. These have included PLCs, micro businesses’ and SMEs.

Each business has it’s own DNA and I love getting under the skin of each one and fully understanding its goals. Here are a few examples of what I can do for your business.

Social media guidelines and training

Creating guidelines and training for marketing teams on the do’s and don’ts of using third party content.

Responding to claims of infringement

I can help you understand how strong their case is; what your options are and if a re-brand is necessary, how you do that to avoid this happening again.

Avoiding contractual surprises

A contract audit to check key clauses in your contracts with suppliers and avoid missing notice periods or unwanted automatic renewals.

Managing cross-border infringement claims

I can manage this process – instructing and working with your overseas lawyers; gathering evidence from within the business to support your position in the litigation and continuing to make recommendations on settlement.

Reviewing marketing materials

I provide an outsourced function to review the draft marketing materials and advise on potential issues and recommend changes.

Naming your new clothing brand

I carry out trade mark clearance searches to check whether there are any existing rights that could be problematic.

Launching your innovative App

Ensuring that the name of the app; the technology; its features and design are all protected to avoid copying and to ensure that you can licence it for maximum value.
